human scum beware


Representing the Tyraeli's warrior class, the Aluerkawos are the ones sent out to defend what's theirs and fight against the human race. They're slightly taller than a man. On the battlefield they usually carry their wristblades only in order to be fast and agile. Only sometimes they would carry axes, spears and maybe additional armor.
If faught on jungle terrain the human soldiers stand no chance against a bunch of Alus and Accomdanihs. while on open field the humans would be in advantage with their ballistic weapons.
This drawing shows an older specimen who's faught many battles. The tattoo on his breast stands for a high rank within the warrior's ranking system and once again he's out to show the alien intruders (that would be the human race) where they belong.


I have no idea how long this picture took me. I didnt stop time. Only every now and then i colored a certain body part and continued doing... nothing. I'm so damn lazy lately. and i hate that. -_-
Anyway. My tools were Adobe Photoshop CS2 and my Wacom Graphire tablet. just like always.
I can say that I'm pretty happy with the outcome. The axe's blades are what i call a lucky accident. hehe
in the end i did not change it's body color. After all the Aluerkawo and Accomdanih are the same race, so they'd have to look similar.

EDIT

I uploaded a polished version. That means i replaced the original pencil-lineart with a new ink-lineart and fit it onto the coloration. I also made some small changes like enlarged hands and more detail.
I hope you notice the changes and enjoy the new version more. Otherwise i would also upload the original.
