have you guys heard and/or seen trailers of James Cameron's new movie Avatar (coming in December 09)? And no, its nothing like the avatar: the last airbender cartoons.

Looking pretty damn good i must say! Definitly gonna see that.

But i dont know if I should be all too happy about this. Just look at the trailers. Listen carefully. Whenever you hear Pandora, replace it with Poysaara. Whenever you hear RDA, replace it with REC (Research and Expiditionary Corps). Whenever you hear Na'vi, replace it with TYRAELI.
what have you got? Pretty much, if not 1:1, my idea/the world for the comic i meant to draw someday. I mean, jesus ...the differences are almost not existant.

look at the trailers. there are creatures that remind me alot of Accomdanih. hell, there even are aircraft vehicles that look so much like the Vulture that i had in mind: [link] (never came around to drawing it, so heres what i built in Spore's editor)
the rest of the story arch is completely different, yet still...

no, OF COURSE im not accusing James Cameron of stealing ideas from me (lol ridiculous!). Afterall he came up with the idea for Avatar in 1994. I can't beat that. Its just a pretty stupid coincidence. I mean, if I'm ever gonna draw that comic of mine, everybody will be like "oh yeah, this is SO copied from Avatar!" =C
oh well... cant do anything about that but to think of something else. Not that im actually gonna do that though! too much work and time has gone into this project.
